Overview:
This course offers a real cross section of
teachings. Several styles of guitar playing are
covered including, rock, hip hop, jazz, country,
metal and more. Jay has recorded over 1000 play
along jam tracks that are designed to be used
exclusively with this course. The course teaches
how to read music but also includes tablatures.
The course includes 18 video lessons and 20
audio lessons for each style of play.
Summary:
There is a lot of
information in this program. The program covers
many different styles of playing the guitar and
therefore somewhat dilutes the information for
general instruction of the guitar. This would
probably be a better choice for someone who
already has some basic skills and wishes to
polish their play by learning the different
styles of music. Many of the reports we received
made mention that the massive selection of play
along jam tracks was worth the price of the
course. Compared to some of the other programs
available, this one was a bit short on general
instruction and therefore received a rating of
4.0 stars.
